Option 1
Obtain a Learner’s Permit
Take and pass a Driver Education classroom/online course
Complete 7 hours of required Behind-The-Wheel training
Student will be issued an “Adult Waiver” to take to DMV to receive Driver’s License
Option 2
Obtain a Learner’s Permit and hold it for 60 days
Complete the DMV Maneuver Form
Take the Road Skills Test at DMV
Teens Under 18 Years Old
Obtain Learner’s Permit (must be 15 and 6 months)
Take and pass a Driver Education classroom course
Complete 7 hours of required Behind-The-Wheel training and 7 hours of observation
Hold Learner’s Permit for 9 months
Student will be issued a temporary Driver’s License.

Yes we do! We offer the 8 hour driver improvement both in-person and online. We also offer driving lessons and behind the wheel training in-person.
Our 3x fail (8 hr Driver’s Manual Course) and 30hr Driver’s Education for teens or adults is offered exclusively online.
Yes. DMV requires that every driver obtain a Learner’s Permit in the state of Virginia before becoming licensed, regardless of age. You can read more about it on DMV’s website.
Both of these classes are entirely online and exactly 8 hours in length.
Driver Improvement is available in person at our local office and will also be 8 hours.
The state of Virginia requires that driver’s education courses/classes are at least 30 hours. In person classes are 36 50 minute sessions which also amounts to exactly 30 hours.
Our online course is exactly 30 hours in length, and be taken at your own pace. You can logout and return to the course at anytime.
The state of Virginia also requires a 90 minute presentation for teens and their parents. Our online program includes this 90 minutes and is separate from the 30 hour online course.
Teens are able to apply for a Virginia Learner’s Permit at the age of 15 years old and six months. At age 16 years and 3 months, teens can officially become licensed through our Driver’s Education program (to include 36-hours of classroom instruction and 14 in-car sessions – 7 driving and 7 observing)
